Take advantage of the bus stop right outside for easy access to the centre without the steep walk back.

The property was tastily decorated, creating a
welcoming atmosphere. Our hosts were incredibly helpful, providing us with tips on local landmarks. Breakfast was a delightful surprise—delivered to our room with a knock, ensuring we felt at home. The only downside was the distance requiring some steep walking back from the town.

Greystones Guesthouse offers a comfortable stay with some lovely features. The room was spacious, clean, and had great decor, providing a warm atmosphere to relax in. I appreciated the mini fridge stocked with water and milk, which was a nice touch. Breakfast delivery right to my room was fantastic. it felt special to have such a variety every morning. Different options each day, from pastries to fruits, kept it fresh and exciting. The location is conveniently just a 20-minute walk from the centre of Whitby, and there’s a bus stop outside for days when I didn’t feel like walking back. the bathroom felt a bit chilly, with the heated towel rail not providing enough warmth. the surroundings can be busy at times, making it a little tricky to back out of the driveway. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was delightful, thanks to the welcoming hosts.

the steep walk back from town is, quite frankly, unacceptable for such a so-called guesthouse, and the minor wifi troubles, oh bless, just took away from the experience. i really thought a complimentary upgrade would’ve been a nice touch, but apparently, we're all treated the same here, which is quite disappointing. just couldn't recommend it.

Not exactly what I expected
The breakfast delivery system was fantastic! ! Varied continental selection and thoughtful private touches made every morning delightful.
The uphill walk back from the town was a bit strenuous after a long day exploring.

We had a lovely stay, proper welcoming hosts, mate! Brekkie was lush, delivered right to our door and we got loads of choice. The room was clean as a whistle—only downside was the steeper walk back from town, but the bus stop outside was a lifesaver!

The bathroom was quite chilly during my stay, and the heated towel rail seemed to operate on a timer, which didn’t help much. the busy road made reversing into the driveway a bit of a challenge. A cooked breakfast option would have made for an even better start to my day, as the continental selection, while decent, didn’t quite meet my expectations for a short break.
